About Orientation

Orientation is required of all new Realtor® members and must be completed within 90 days of joining the Association.

SPAAR offers a two-day orientation program that offers an in-depth understanding into the resources, tools and value of your membership. Learn about where your dues money goes and how to take advantage of your membership benefits.

SPAAR’s orientation program gives you over half (10.25 hours) of your yearly required education, worth $100, for FREE from industry professionals on key real estate topics. Lunch is provided on both days.

What To Expect

Day 1

  • Unlocking Your Membership – 9 a.m.
  • Hey, REALTOR®! Let’s Talk Safety (1.5 HR CE) – 10:45 a.m.
  • Lunch and Affiliate Networking – 12:15 p.m. (Lunch Provided)
  • Intro to NorthstarMLS (3 HR CE) – 1 p.m.

Day 2

  • New Member Code of Ethics (3.75 HR CE) – 9 a.m. (Membership Requirement)
  • Lunch and Affiliate Networking – 12:45 p.m. (Lunch Provided)
  • Agency and Fair Housing (2 HR CE) – 1:30 p.m. (License Requirement)
  • Graduation – 3:30 p.m.
