What is #ThanksGivingBack

Created for Realtors® and real estate professionals to give back to the community during the season of thankfulness by supporting food shelves in SPAAR’s jurisdiction. Each year from 2022-2025, SPAAR collected needed items as identified by local food shelves and it was through the generosity of SPAAR members who came together to support members of local communities that helped make this possible.

Historical Impact

SPAAR’s 2025 #thanksgivingback brought in “Cereal” to help the communities in SPAAR’s 12-county service area to fill their pantries.

SPAAR’s 2024 #thanksgivingback “Soup” collection was created to warm the heart with a hot bowl for those in need.

SPAAR’s 2023 #thanksgivingback “Raise the Bar” collection drive resulted in 5,547 full-size bars of soap donated to local food shelves throughout SPAAR’s jurisdiction.

SPAAR’s 2022 #thanksgivingback “TP our Jurisdiction” collection drive resulted in 8,776 rolls of toilet paper donated to local food shelves throughout SPAAR’s 12-county jurisdiction.

SPAAR received many messages, such as this one from Keystone Community Services: “We are so grateful for SPAAR’s generosity and I’m excited you’re reaching out again this year. This year’s initiative sounds incredible and is something that I know will be really appreciated by the community. Fantastic!”
