Members spoke. SPAAR listened.

SPAAR members had the opportunity to participate in a survey to help the association identify areas where it ranked strong as well as areas where improvement could be made. This survey, offered in the fall of 2025, was coordinated in partnership with T3 Sixty, an independent consulting firm. Survey invitations were sent to SPAAR's 7,967 members and 883 members, or 11.08% of its membership at that snapshot in time, responded.

Rankings in the five performance categories are as follows:

Member satisfaction: Superior ranking of 3.35 out of 4
Leadership: Superior ranking of 3.28 out of 4
Support: Exceptional ranking of 3.50 out of 4
Communications: Superior ranking of 3.37 out of 4
Core Services: 3.31 ranking out of 4

Within the Core Services, three specific areas were further evaluated including Education, Advocacy and Connections. These Core Services received rankings as follows:

Education: Superior ranking of 3.40 out of 4 with emphasis on importance, satisfaction, value and quality of the education services provided by SPAAR.

Advocacy: Good ranking of 3.24 out of 4 with emphasis on impact, satisfaction, value and representation of the advocacy activities and services provided by SPAAR.

Connections: Superior ranking of 3.29 out of 4 with emphasis on importance, satisfaction, value and quality of the connection components that include networking and related benefits as provided by SPAAR.

Among the many benefits SPAAR provides, members ranked the following as the five most important:

Friendly and Efficient Member Support;
On-Demand Education Opportunities;
Statistics and Local Market Updates;
Representation interests in Local Government; and
Discounts on Real Estate Products

Members spoke. SPAAR listened. Based on the member responses to the performance and focus areas above, as well as other questions in the survey, SPAAR's Board of Directors, with staff input, created its Strategic Plan to serve as a guide for initiatives and activities from 2026-2028.
