Andrew Fischer named SPAAR Affiliate of the Month

“Community is my passion,” said Andrew (Andy) Fischer, SPAAR Affiliate member and a local home inspector. “I see my role as part of building community, and I especially love working with first-time buyers and being part of their journey to finding a home that fits their wants and needs.”

As the owner and operator of Red Oak Inspection, Andy finds joy in being part of a process that can be stressful for homebuyers and being able to shed light on it for them along with helping buyers understand what maintenance and repairs come with homeownership so they are better equipped to maintain their home going forward.

“I had the opportunity to help a first-time homebuyer do an inspection on a recently remodeled house. We were able to secure a brand-new water heater and new roof as those large items were missed in the disclosures,” said Andy about one of his favorite success stories from his work.

Andy noted that rainy days can be a good day to do an inspection because of the ability to check gutters when they’re in action as well as spot any active leaks. He also loves the rain because it allows him to watch his massive garden get watered naturally.

When Andy’s not overseeing inspections, he may be found at one of his favorite spots which is Caydence Records & Coffee on the East Side that he acknowledged to have good coffee, good music and good vibes!

Congratulations, Andy, on being named SPAAR Affiliate of the Month!
