Word on the Street: members respond and share their #1 tip for preparing for spring listings.

The most recent Word on the Street took place during REALTOR® Safety Month in September, and members were asked: "What is your #1 tip for preparing for your spring listing(s)?"

Thank you to the members who took time to share helpful tips, which are as follows:

"Declutter. Declutter. Declutter."

"Deep clean."

"Make the house neutral without a lot of personal items that take attention away from the home itself."

"Get rid of any yard debris as well as leaves and branches that are on the ground."

"Fix landscaping and make sure fence boards and gates are in good working order."

"Encourage flower pots by the front door."

"Make sure the front door is in good condition and welcoming. First impressions matter."
