Member sought to represent SPAAR on the St. Paul TISH Board

SPAAR is currently seeking a licensed Realtor® to fill a future open seat on the St. Paul Truth-in-Sale of Housing (TISH) Board. This is a unique opportunity to represent the Realtor® community while contributing to important conversations about housing standards in the City of St. Paul.

The TISH Board plays an advisory role to the City of St. Paul, providing recommendations on policies, procedures, and evaluations standards related to the Truth-in-Sale of Housing program. This program ensures that homes being sold in the city meet minimum safety and livability standards through required pre-sale evaluations.

As SPAAR’s representative on the board, the responsibilities will include offering insight from a Realtor®’s perspective, helping promote fair and consistent practices, and working alongside city staff, evaluators and housing professionals to support transparency and quality in the home sale process.

The TISH Board meets quarterly on the second Wednesdays of January, April, July and October from 3:30 to 5pm. Meetings are held in-person at City of St. Paul offices.
