Take part in SPAAR’s 2026 School Supply Challenge

Create stronger communities by being part of the team that helps send local kids back to school with the supplies they need.

SPAAR needs member support to collect school supplies so kids start the year off right. This year, SPAAR is trying something new.

Collected items will be donated to Kids in Need Foundation, a national nonprofit that provides teachers and classrooms in the Twin Cities with supplies for the year ahead. To do so, SPAAR members can engage in some friendly competition.

Each week SPAAR is highlighting a different school supply---and a different SPAAR Champion.

Week One: Team April!                   Colored pencils

Week Two: Team Nichole!           Crayons

Week Three: Team LeRoy!                Notebooks

Week Four: Team Laura!                  Kleenex

Week Five: Team Roberta!            Disinfectant Wipes   

All of these school items will be collected through Labor Day. Feel free to drop off at SPAAR.

ALL MEMBERS CAN HELP:

• Shop and deliver school supplies to SPAAR
• Donate using a credit card
