SPAAR members pack meals with heart

Three teams of volunteers from SPAAR assembled meal kits at Stillwater-based nonprofit Meals From the Heart on May 17 and 18. Participating in the nonprofit’s annual Business2Business Challenge that raises awareness for food insecurity, each of the SPAAR teams competed with teams from area businesses to package, seal and box meals to be distributed to food shelves in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.

SPAAR members serving on the Board of Directors and the Association’s committees participated, packaging more than 18 cases of meal kits.
