Let someone you trust know where you are and when you'll be back whether that's informing a Realtor^® colleague or front desk of your office. Similarly, share your schedule and call/text if plans change. Have a code word in case anything goes awry. Taking as many safety procautions as possible is the best way to ensure your safety.
