Representative Betty McCollum named June 2025 Realtor® Champion of the Month

Representative Betty McCollum is SPAAR's June 2025 Realtor^® Champion of the Month.

Rep. McCollum represents Minnesota's 4^th District in the U.S. House of Representatives, which includes St. Paul, all of Ramsey County and most of Washington County. She is the Minnesota Congressional Delegation's lone member of the Real Estate Caucus; a bipartisan group of lawmakers focused on promoting the real estate industry. Rep. McCollum has long been an ally to Realtors^® and the real estate industry.

An example of Rep. McCollum's support for the Realtor^® community is her co-sponsorship of H.R. 5419, the Direct Seller and Real Estate Agent Harmonization Act, which would amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to ensure that the status of Realtors^® as independent contractors is protected.

Rep. McCollum met with SPAAR members in her office in Washington D.C. on June 4 as part of NAR's annual Legislative Meetings.
