Read and discuss Bittersweet Lane, SPAAR’s spring housing book club pick, starting April 2

SPAAR members are urged to pick up the book Bittersweet Lane: Creating Home(s) in the American Affordable Housing Crisis and join in the upcoming spring housing book club, sponsored by SPAAR’s Housing Affordability Task Force.

The book selection was voted on by SPAAR members. It was written by Jamie Madden, a community development professional with expertise in housing development and public policy. Bittersweet Lane blends memoir with policy analysis to explore the U.S. housing crisis, offering a personal and professional perspective on its history, challenges, and potential solutions.

This spring session will begin on Thursday, April 2, at 8am via Zoom and will continue every Thursday through the month of April.
