Put your leadership in action as part of SPAAR’s Board of Directors for 2027

SPAAR's Board of Directors director and officer positions application process is now open for 2027.

The SPAAR Board of Directors provides strategic direction, leadership and guidance for the Association and its committees, which are run by members in conjunction with SPAAR staff member liaisons.

The Board of Directors positions are for a three-year term and participants are asked to make attendance a priority for all Board meetings, which total between six to 10 meetings a year.

The three open director positions serve as part of the Board of Directors and the role involves voting on recommendations and motions, and representing SPAAR member interests. The three officer positions, specifically for treasurer, president-elect and president, share the same role as the directors and, in addition, will be part of the monthly Executive Committee meetings.

"I joined the SPAAR board shortly after completing Leadership SPAAR the year Brianne Lawrence, Amy Peterson and Jennifer Livingston were installed," said Colin Voerding, a Realtor® and the 2026 treasurer of SPAAR's Board of Directors. "This marked the start of a powerful leadership journey. It encouraged me to share my voice, experience and passion. I’ve grown professionally each year and am deeply grateful for the strength and support of my fellow leaders."

All candidates must have been a member of the Association for one year prior to the date of the nomination and must be a Realtor® member in good standing with no ethics violations within the past year.
