SPAAR - 12/09/2020

Congratulations to Michael Hunstad on being recognized as SPAAR Hero for March 2018!

Michael is extremely involved in helping to make his community a better place. He was nominated to be SPAAR Hero for his work with Montessori Renaissance Academy in Anoka. When the retirement plans of the previous owner put the future of the school in doubt, Michael intervened. He was successful in ensuring the future for the school. In addition to working as a REALTOR®, Michael has taken on administrative and maintenance responsibilities for the growing school.

Michael has been instrumental in growing Toys For Joy into a year-round community program. Toys For Joy has expanded from a holiday gift program serving families in need to include holiday meals, children's birthday parties and recognition for veterans. Michael is actively involved in REALTOR® associations at the local, state and national levels. Currently, he acts as the Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) for Congressman Emmer, and serves on the Region 8 Corporate Investment Council Liaison and NAR's Board of Directors.

Congratulations, Michael, for being named SPAAR Hero for March 2018!
