Members invited to ADU open house event in Golden Valley

SPAAR members are invited to an upcoming Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) open housing taking place in Golden Valley.

The event will put the spotlight on ADUs and feature a handful of speakers including the following:

• Golden Valley Mayor, Roslyn Harmon, will speak to the city's process to approve ADU's by right.
• A candidate to represent Golden Valley at the state legislature will talk about her housing positions.
• YardHomes will speak about the energy saving features that were built into the unit.
• And the homeowner will speak about why she decided to have this ADU built.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 4, from 2-5pm at 1635 Kelly Drive Golden Valley (55427).

There will also be food trucks at the event and YardHomes will be providing non-alcoholic beverages.
