Mai Chong Xiong is SPAAR’s August 2025 Realtor® Champion of the Month

Ramsey County Commissioner Mai Chong Xiong is SPAAR's August 2025 Realtor® Champion of the Month.

Commissioner Xiong was elected in 2023, becoming the first Asian, first Hmong American, and youngest person to serve on Ramsey County's Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Xiong represents Ramsey County's 6^th District, which includes much of Saint Paul’s Greater East Side, Payne-Phalen, Dayton’s Bluff, Conway, Highwood Hills and adjoining neighborhoods.

SPAAR endorsed Commissioner Xiong in 2023 because of her dedication to ensuring residents have a stable and affordable place to call home.

This summer, Commissioner Xiong participated in SPAAR's Transforming Neighborhoods project, where she shared her knowledge of, and vision for, the White Bear Avenue Corridor on St. Paul's East Side. Her contributions to this project and her dedication to expanding housing opportunities make her an excellent Realtor® Champion.
