Thinking about giving back? Below are two amazing opportunities.
SPAAR members are hosting Bingo Day at Emma Norton Services and you can take part in volunteering for this fun event on Friday, November 17, from 1-3pm. Volunteers lead Bingo, serve snacks and socialize with participants.
Emma Norton Services (ENS) provides emergency housing, counseling and case management services to women in transition. ENS has served the St. Paul area for more than 100 years. Learn more at Emma Norton Services | Strengthening, Nurturing, and Empowering.
There is limited space available. Register here to volunteer for Bingo Day.
Another opportunity to consider:
SPAAR members will help prepare a special holiday meal families can share together as part of the Open Arms Kitchen Crew on Thursday, December 7, from 2-4:30pm.
Open Arms of Minnesota prepares and delivers meals to critically ill Minnesotans (and their families!). Home - Open Arms of Minnesota (openarmsmn.org)
The Open Arms’ Saint Paul kitchen is located at 380 East Lafayette Frontage Road. Register here to take part in the Open Arms meal preparation.
Both events are in need of volunteers! Community events are coordinated by SPAAR’s Community Engagement Committee. All SPAAR members are welcome; space may be limited. #thanksgivingback
