Brokerage Chooses ODSO To Celebrate Eighth Anniversary

Traditional gifts exchanged in recognition of an eighth anniversary are crafted from bronze or pottery. Edge Real Estate Services recently recognized its anniversary with oatmeal, goldfish and peach cups! On April 1, Edge Real Estate Services celebrated by hosting SPAAR’s first On-Demand Service Opportunity (ODSO). 

Volunteers from Edge assembled 165 lunch kits that were donated to nonprofit The Open Door Pantry. Each lunch kit included instant macaroni and cheese, a fruit cup, cereal bar, instant oatmeal, beef stick and crackers and will be distributed to partner schools through Open Door’s Mobile Lunch Box.

What is ODSO? SPAAR created the On-Demand Service Opportunity, known as ODSO, where member offices or teams provide volunteers and a place to work and SPAAR’s Community Engagement Committee, which sponsors ODSO, will deliver supplies for a project. The project goal is to impact families in your area by supporting a local nonprofit organization. Participants are encouraged to pay it forward with individual or group contributions.
