April was Fair Housing Month

Each April, SPAAR’s Government Affairs Team sends out a Fair Housing proclamation to each city and county in its territory. This is an opportunity for SPAAR to engage these communities and highlight the continued importance of Fair Housing laws. By signing this proclamation, this affirms their support for Fair Housing and elevates the discussion of Fair Housing issues.

Each year, tens of thousands of Fair Housing Act complaints are filed. This is why it’s important that we continue to talk about and reaffirm our support for Fair Housing Laws. This year, for Fair Housing Month, 6 cities in SPAAR’s territory signed a Fair Housing Month Proclamation. Those cities are:

• Arden Hills
• Elk River
• Northfield
• Oakdale
• Rosemount
• Saint Paul
