A Winter Social recap

Ignite others; light the way home was the theme of SPAAR's annual Winter Social that took place on January 10, 2024, at The Saint Paul Hotel.

2023 SPAAR President Brianne Lawrence provided a warm welcome and comments that included a moment of silence for SPAAR CEO John Fridlington who died on January 7.

Brianne summarized her year, providing member highlights and spotlighting some of the new endeavors of SPAAR such as the new member distribution tool NoteRouter and On-Demand education option as well as SPAAR’s first-ever Nonprofit Fair and SPAAR-B-Q networking event.

Jan Hettwer-Dummer led the installation of 2024 SPAAR President Amy Peterson and the newly installed members of the 2024 SPAAR Board of Directors. Amy has served SPAAR in many leadership capacities over the years including serving on various committees, REALTORS® Charitable Foundation and, most recently, as Treasurer and President-elect prior to her current role.

In addition to the 2023 SPAAR annual award recipients, members involved in Leadership SPAAR, Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) and the REALTOR® Emeritus program were recognized.
