The City of Saint Paul reopened Citywide Downpayment Assistance and Inheritance Fund programs

The City of Saint Paul has reopened its Citywide Downpayment Assistance and Inheritance Fund programs.

The Citywide Downpayment Assistance Program offers eligible homebuyers up to $40,000 through a 15-year deferred term loan at 0% interest to use toward the purchase of a home in the City of Saint Paul. Funds can be used toward:

• Downpayment
• Closing costs
• Interest rate buydown

Through the Inheritance Fund, qualifying descendants can receive between $50,000 and $110,000 in downpayment assistance to purchase a home in Saint Paul to address lost generational wealth. Saint Paul has expanded this program to include direct descendants of West Side Flats and Rondo.
