Minnesota Housing announces new first-generation homebuyer loan program

Minnesota Housing will be launching the Agency First-Generation Homebuyer Loan program this spring. The program will offer downpayment assistance loans up to $35,000 in forgivable loans, with the potential to combine it with other Agency assistance for a total of $53,000.

This is one of two first-generation homebuyer programs passed by the legislature in 2023. The community program, run by Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corp., will be opening later this spring. Learn the details and be in the know.
