SPAAR is sharing information about the Native American Homeownership Initiative program.
Some of the program's features are as follows:
1) It is designed for Native American tribal members purchasing a home in Minnesota as a primary residence.
2) It is a $25,000 grant that is forgiven after 5 years.
3) Participants must be 80% AMI. Income limits vary based on family size.
4) The funds can be used for down payment, closing costs and escrow.
