This year’s collection will be cereal-ously fun for #thanksgivingback

Cereal will soon be filling SPAAR's lobby, all in the name of #thanksgivingback to collect items for food shelves within SPAAR's 12-county service area. Member participation helps make this possible!

And...to make this year even more fun...there's a contest! Stop by SPAAR to pick up a blank cardboard cereal-size box to create a unique cereal box, name and all. All boxes that are created and returned to SPAAR on or before Friday, November 7 will be on display at SPAAR beginning on Monday, November 10, for members to vote for their top three favorite boxes.

The top three winning boxes will receive fun prizes including:

• Pizza Party (1st prize)
• Donuts and bagels meeting treats (2nd prize), and
• Ice cream treats (3rd prize)

Interested to be part of this contest? Stop by SPAAR to pick up a box or email spaar@spaar.com to claim one to design for the contest. Individual and team entries are welcome!

This is a great way to showcase Realtor® creativity while also collecting cereal to support community members in need as SPAAR is challenges its 7,500 members to collect cereal to be distributed to food shelves across SPAAR's 12-county service area through its annual #thanksgivingback program.

Each SPAAR member is asked to donate one bag or box of cereal to SPAAR, and offices are welcome to contribute, too. Cereal will be collected through the month of November, then divided among 24-30 food shelves, and distributed the first week in December.

Previous #thanksgivingback collections have included toilet paper in 2022, soap in 2023 and soup in 2024, all thanks to the generosity of SPAAR members. Let's do it again this year with cereal! Questions? Email spaar@spaar.com.
