Thank you, Amy Peterson

As the year comes to a close so, too, does Amy Peterson’s multi-year role as president of SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation for which she deserves much gratitude. In Amy’s tenure, she oversaw the continuation of the scholarship program providing $2,000 per recipient each year as SPAAR children and grandchildren pursued education beyond high school. Amy also had the privilege of presenting up to $50,000 in grants to multiple area businesses including Rondo Center for Diverse Expression, Great River Greening, Mapping Prejudice, Housing First Minnesota Foundation and Safe Summer Nights for their roles in bettering the communities they serve.

Most recently, Amy took part in the MN Realtors® Rebuilding Community check presentations in which the REALTORS® Charitable Foundation donated $50,000, an amount that contributed to the more than $250,000 raised in collaboration with Minnesota Realtors®, the Minneapolis Area REALTORS® Foundation and too many businesses and individuals to name. Amy’s work has helped to shine a light on the great work done regularly by the Realtor® community and those in the industry. Thank you, Amy, for your continued service to SPAAR and for your leadership of the REALTORS® Charitable Foundation.
