SPAAR’s Candidate Endorsement Process

Believe it or not, it is almost that time of year again.

Yes, some of you will have another opportunity to get out and vote this year.

There are about 30 local elections we are watching as November approaches. There are City Council seats on the ballot in Centerville, Circle Pines, Columbus, Lino Lakes, Rosemount, Red Wing, Falcon Heights, White Bear Lake, Lonsdale, and Mahtomedi.

Mayoral seats in Saint Paul, Centerville, Circle Pines, Columbus, Lino Lakes, White Bear Lake, and Lonsdale will be on the ballot. And County Commissioner seats in Goodhue County, as well.

Candidate filings started July 27th and close August 10^th.

Just as we did last year, SPAAR will be asking members to help us interview, endorse, and donate to candidates for these elected offices. We hope you will help us!
