SPAARky’s safety session at New Member Orientation

SPAAR - 09/16/2024

SPAARky, SPAAR's beloved safety dog, made a special appearance at the September new member orientation to remind everyone that September is REALTOR® Safety Month. SPAARky greeted the new members with enthusiasm and shared the importance of Realtor® safety. Watch the video here.

But SPAARky didn’t stop there—he encouraged everyone in the class to share their favorite safety tips. Here are a few standout tips from SPAAR's newest members:

  • Let someone always know where you're going and who you're meeting.
  • Meet clients at your office or in a public space for the first meeting.
  • Bring an extra pair of shoes to make it appear multiple people are at a showing or open house.
  • Walk behind your clients. Don't get trapped!
  • Always know your surroundings.
  • Announce yourself as "Realtor®" before entering a house or property.
  • What safety tips would you add in addition to this list?
