SPAAR Toastmasters introduces speech themes and networking session

SPAAR Toastmasters has kicked off its spring season, and welcomes Realtors® and Affiliates of all speaking abilities who seek to improve their presentation and speaking skills.

The speech themes for June, July and August are as follows:

• June 3: Professional Standards
• June 17: Technology in Business: how it impacts communication
• July 1: Red, White and BOOM!
• July 15: My journey…into real estate, on vacation or within the industry
• August 5: Motivation or words of wisdom that inspire
• August 19: Housing on a stick

Come to observe a meeting or feel free to participate -- there are options for everyone!

Whether talking among agents or meeting with clients, having polished speaking skills is an asset. If there's an agent who could benefit from building confidence in his or her speaking ability or improve in their meeting management skills, Toastmasters has the setting and tools to help.

The meetings take place at SPAAR on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 1-2pm. There is no need to RSVP in advance of the meetings. Anyone is welcome to attend. Updates are noted on SPAAR's calendar.

Toastmasters is a nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide to promote communication and public speaking skills. And, since 2019, SPAAR has been an official Toastmasters, International, chapter open specifically for SPAAR members and those in the real estate industry.
