SPAAR reps at local Career Exploration and Job Fair

SPAAR took part in a Career Exploration and Job Fair hosted by the St. Paul Area Chamber on October 17 along with more than 100 businesses.

The day began with 11th graders from 29 schools checking out the Career Exploration. This opportunity allowed employers to connect with students and bring an awareness of the kinds of careers available in real estate. The students were excited to learn about the home buying process and related opportunities such as photography and staging careers. Some students were already interested in real estate as an investment and other students wanted to know how to get their real estate licenses.

Additionally, a few of the schools inquired how they can create relationships between Realtors® and their schools because they're experiencing an increase in questions from the students about the real estate industry.

In the afternoon, job seekers attended the job fair portion of the event. SPAAR representatives spoke to dozens of individuals interested in career paths in real estate.
