Grateful for SPAAR Heroes like Sandy Maxwell who was named SPAAR Hero for September 2019!

Sandy Maxwell is known as a fireball for her passion of the “Tee it up for the Kids” charity golf event that just completed its 12th year, Sandy has been named SPAAR Hero for September 2019.

Sandy has been a Realtor® since 1989 and helping people is one thing she likes best. Serving kids and Veterans is especially important to Sandy, and the annual golf tournament is one way she gives back. The “Tee it up for the Kids” charity golf event had raised $260,000 by 2018, with another tournament taking place in August.

The golf tournament supports the youth camp that brings together the dependents of active and retired men and women of the National Guard in a fun, supportive, educational and patriotic environment and helps the kids to better cope and understand the stress of separation by military duty. Sandy's husband Tom also served in the Army.

Congratulations, Sandy, on being named SPAAR Hero for September 2019.
