Saint Paul Realtors® give back to the community
SPAAR - 09/28/2022
SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation check presentation took place on September 27 as members of the Foundation, guided by 2022 Foundation President Man Huynh, presented $100,000 to local nonprofits Great River Greening; Project for Pride in Living, Inc.; and The Sanneh Foundation.
- Great River Greening will use its $25,000 grant to restore an urban green space as part of the Frogtown Park Restoration Project.
- Project for Pride in Living, Inc., will use its $25,000 grant for home-ready education programs specifically held to counsel individuals within the SPAAR service area.
- The Sanneh Foundation will use its $50,000 grant to support housing initiatives in the SPAAR service area.
SPAAR has more than 8,000 members within its jurisdiction, which serves 12 counties and more than 200 municipalities.
“We’ve been excited to make a difference through grants in past years that have an impact to the greater communities. We’re excited to support Great River Greening, Project for Pride in Living and The Sanneh Foundation this year,” said Man Huynh, president of SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation. “Great things happen when Realtors® get involved in their communities.”
REALTORS® Charitable Foundation granted $100,000 among the three recipients for their commitment to community improvement. The designated funds of the grant program support one or more key focus areas of the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS® including advocacy, community engagement, professional development and communications, also known as the four pillars of SPAAR, intended to help create Better Agents and Better Communities.
The grant presentation was covered by KSTP-TV (Ch. 5). See the news coverage here.
