What is the Tether RE app?
Tether RE is a real estate safety and productivity platform designed to protect agents from initial contact with a client to the close of a deal. It integrates various safety features like 24/7 live monitoring, SOS alerts and proximity timers, alongside tools for client verification and background checks.
How does someone get started?
Click here and log in with your SPAAR portal credentials. Once logged in, click on the Tether RE details button and follow the instructions.
How will someone know when registration is complete?
Once registration is completed, subscribers will receive payment confirmation as well as a “thank you” email sent by SPAAR with information to begin the set-up process. In addition, subscribers will receive a Facebook private invitation sent by Tether RE.
What is the cost of Tether RE?
For SPAAR Realtors® and Affiliate members, the cost is $60 annually.
For MLS-only members, the cost is $96 annually.
Are brokers able to pay for their agents?
Contact Tether RE at support@tetherre.com to discuss this option.
Is the mileage tracker feature an additional cost?
No. This feature is included as part of the fee.
What features are available for an extra cost?
Currently, background checks are available for $1.00 each.
Reverse phone number lookups and/or address lookups are available at $.25 per lookup.
How does the renewal process work?
Subscribers will receive an email the day prior to the end of their subscription, which will prompt a renewal option.
What does Tether RE do with the member information collected?
Tether RE uses the information for location-based safety features. For instance, if there’s an emergency and dispatch needs to be called, it helps know the location of the agent. Beyond that, Tether RE uses the tracking information solely for its mileage tracker feature. Tether RE does not share or sell members’ information at any time.
