Recognizing SPAAR’s RPAC Investor of the Month: Jim Cormier

Jim Cormier is SPAAR’s RPAC Investor of the Month for February 2025. A Realtor® for more than 40 years, Jim is the president/broker of Building Sites, Inc., specializing in new construction and land development. Jim has dedicated a heroic amount of time to SPAAR, Minnesota Realtors® (MNR), and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Jim has been president of both the North Metro REALTORS® (2001) and MNR® (2013). In addition, he’s been named REALTOR® of the Year by both the MNR (2006) and SPAAR (2012). In 2006 and 2008, MNR presented Jim with the Ed Anderson Political Achievement Award honoring Realtors® who contributed their time, knowledge and resources to the preservation of the real estate industry.

Jim has served as a Federal Political Coordinator for Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District and on the Federal Independent Expenditure Advisory Committee. He is a member of the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame and a part of the Golden “R” and President’s Circles.

These are only some of Jim’s many contributions to the real estate industry.
