Purpose:
The Education and Professionalism Committee exists to ensure real estate professionals are provided with cutting-edge opportunities to continually increase their skills, knowledge, and ethical standards that will lead to highly successful real estate careers and to a more well served and protected consumer.
Vision:
A committee of real estate professionals will provide overall feedback and perspectives on the issues impacting the agent community that will inform SPAAR to provide responsive programs and education opportunities, both for CE credit and not for CE credit. These opportunities will create better agents and better real estate outcomes in our served communities.
Core Activities
“Better Agents” is a core focus for SPAAR and the Education and Professionalism Committee helps set the direction providing input into classes and other offerings that strengthen members as professionals.
C2EX
The Education and Professionalism Committee promotes and provides resources for the Commitment To Excellence program.
A C2EX endorsement shows that you have made a commitment to excellence as a Realtor®. A member’s Commitment to Excellence is a continual practice, and a lifelong commitment to superior professionalism and providing first-rate customer service.
Better Brokers Series
Better Business Series are meetings designed for brokers and Realtors® who may benefit from the information shared. These meetings include breakfast and a forum presentation to enhance the resources and knowledge of those who participate.
Golden Rule Recognition Program
This program was created for SPAAR members to recognize fellow members for going above and beyond in their day-to-day lives. For example, if someone in an office is always there for other members answering questions or giving helpful ideas, he or she would be deserving of this recognition.
Mental Wellness Group
SPAAR’s Mental Wellness Group is a space created by Realtors®, for Realtors®. It’s a place to take off the mask, share openly, and build strategies to manage the emotional roller coaster of real estate. Meetings will be held in a safe, respectful environment where confidentiality is honored.
