Who we are
Our website address is: http://spaar.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
SPAAR uses contact forms to gather feedback from users, to connect with staff, and more. Responses are securely stored and are not shared outside of the SPAAR organization.
Cookies
SPAAR is committed to providing the best user experience for its members. With Hotjar, SPAAR can gain insights into how visitors use and interact with the website. From heatmaps to recordings of users navigating the site, Hotjar provides SPAAR with objective data about where improvements can be made in terms of user interface and design. This data can then be implemented to create a more pleasant and intuitive website experience for members. Furthermore, HotJar’s survey feature allows SPAAR to directly ask for feedback from users on how they are using the website, giving them an even deeper understanding of their members’ needs. Data from Hojar is not sold or given to anyone outside of SPAAR.
Microsoft Clarity
We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
SPAAR utilizes Google Analytics to gain a better understanding of their website performance and user interaction. Google Analytics provides SPAAR with insights into visitor location, pageviews and traffic sources, allowing the team to assess how to better service site visitors and identify areas where improvements can be made. Furthermore, it allows for custom events to be created, providing an in-depth look into how users are interacting with different elements on the site. By using such data-driven insights from Google Analytics, SPAAR can create better experiences for our members.
Who we share your data with
You data is only shared within the SPAAR organization. Data is not sold to anyone.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
