MinnPost: an opinion piece by John Smaby

John Smaby, who served as 2019 president of the National Association of REALTORS® and is a broker with Edina Realty, was published in MinnPost on June 6.

Here's a snipet of the opinion piece titled "Changes in rules regarding real estate sales are positive for realtors and homebuyers" in regard to the settlement:

"...what this settlement will do is foster more upfront communication between agents and their clients. In my view, that’s a net positive. It will provide me and my colleagues an opportunity to explain how well-versed we are in the many financial and legal complexities of a real estate transaction..."
