June is Homeownership Month

Homeownership Month takes place every June to raise awareness about the benefits of owning a home and the importance of making homeownership more attainable for all Americans. In fact, Realtors® often have a starring role in helping countless Americans achieve their dreams.

In 2022, the median net worth between a homeowner and a renter was astounding. A homeowner's net worth was $396,200 while a renter's net worth was $10,400, according to a Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finance shared by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
