Introducing SPAAR’s 2022 Board of Directors: Meet Danielle Pelton

“Don’t get discouraged, it takes time to build up the momentum,” says Danielle Pelton on what advice she’d give herself starting out in real estate.

A Realtor® since 2010, Danielle has a background in Communication Studies with emphasis in Organizational Communication from Bethel University and was working in commercial real estate with the Minnesota Shopping Center Association prior to becoming an agent. Around the same time, her dad began flipping homes and his work, coupled with her experience, sparked Danielle’s interest to eventually pursue her license in real estate, which she adds “has been such a great avenue to have while having the flexibility to raise my daughters.”

When it comes to home staging, Danielle says less is best.

“When you’re planning to move, you might as well go through and purge the things you no longer need and don’t plan to use at the new home,” says Danielle, adding that it allows for the space to then feel as open as possible.

When not working, Danielle enjoys vacations and movie time with her husband Josh and their daughters, Elliot and Evie, along with their dogs, Mildred and Irene. Danielle is also a kickboxing coach and instructor at a gym near her home.

“There’s no better way to start my morning than with a workout. It sets the tone for the day!”
