Don Benzick retires after 50 years in real estate industry

SPAAR - 11/13/2023

After half a century, Don Benzick, who became a Realtor® in 1973, retired this past summer, in 2023. Over the years his career included being an agent, a broker and a manager of multiple real estate companies. The last company he worked at was New Day Realty in Hastings where his son, Brian Benzick, is a Realtor® and the broker.

“My dad was loyal to his clients, and many were repeat customers. He prided himself on keeping in touch with past clients and before major holidays he was known to delivery turkeys, hams, pumpkin pies and apple pies to everyone on his list,” said Brian, who mentioned his dad was awarded Top Producer more times than he can count. “His dedication to his career inspired many and he earned the nickname “Doc” as he often shared his sage advice to real estate friends and companions.”

Congratulations, Don, on a rewarding 50-year real estate career!
