Toys for Joy creates smiles across the community

The Anoka Armory was abuzz on December 19-20 as volunteers guided shoppers to the respective tables for young kids or teens, helping them find the just-right Christmas gifts during the 2024 Toys for Joy distribution event.

Volunteers of all types help make Toys for Joy a success from those who help shop to those who load the vehicles of the families. Other volunteers include those in the background who support the volunteers working with the shoppers, and local law enforcement who keep the traffic flowing smoothly, and many more! It’s a well-orchestrated event.

Toys for Joy is a volunteer-based program in Anoka County with most of the volunteers being from within the Realtor® family and additional support from many community members.

Toys for Joy also provides annual student scholarships in addition to its many endeavors.
