Our Government Affairs team works to make sure both REALTORS® and homeowners are represented in government.

In addition, the Government Affairs Committee works to expand the Association’s sphere of influence in local, regional, state and national public policy areas focusing on issues affecting communities throughout the Association’s jurisdiction.

Recognizing SPAAR’s RPAC Investor of the Month: Jim Cormier

Jim has been president of both the North Metro REALTORS® (2001) and MNR® (2013). In addition, he’s been named REALTOR® of the Year by both the MNR (2006) and SPAAR (2012). In 2006 and 2008, MNR presented Jim with the Ed Anderson Political Achievement Award honoring Realtors® who contributed their time, knowledge and resources to the preservation of the real estate industry.
