A Letter From SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation Man Huynh

SPAAR - 05/16/2022

Dear SPAAR member:

As president of SPAAR’s REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, one of the greatest joys is how we can support the greater community on behalf of all SPAAR members, and it is member involvement that plays a large part of the Foundation’s ongoing success year after year.

Currently, we are in the midst of numerous activities. The annual scholarship program is in the process of selecting this year’s recipients from the pool of applicants, the children and grandchildren of SPAAR members pursuing post-secondary or trade education. Also in the works is the annual grant program as submissions are being gathered. The grant recipient(s) will be determined and announced later this summer.

Coming up this month is the Foundation’s Dresser Build taking place at SPAAR with an ambitious and exciting goal to build up to 800 dressers to support Bridging and its work to help people in need with housing stability.

This year’s Dresser Build will take place under a large tent in SPAAR’s parking lot on May 23 at 1:30pm, May 25 at 1:30pm and May 26 at 11:30am. Lunch will be served 30 minutes prior to each build. Anyone is welcome to participate as long as they’re 14 years old or older. It’ll be a fun day filled with camaraderie and teambuilding all for a great cause!

While these are the three largest endeavors in the works right now, REALTORS® Charitable Foundation will announce other events throughout the year open to all members. We hope you’ll take part in the events that interest you knowing your participation is one way to give back to the communities SPAAR members serve every day.
