Hamburger Fun Facts

According to nationaltoday.com, no one is 100% sure about the origins of the hamburger, but we do know the hamburger has been connected with Hamburg, Germany, since 1758, stemming from a dish recipe called Hamburg Sausage.

Some believe the name comes from cruise line Hamburg American, who served similar sandwiches to their passengers in the mid-1800s. The hamburger, as we know it today, was developed in Seymour, Wisconsin.
