Pearson Vue Testing Centers Reopen

Pearson Vue testing centers are now open at 50% capacity.

The Department of Commerce has reported that Pearson Vue testing centers are now open, but they are operating only at 50% capacity indefinitely with no set date for return to 100% capacity. Locations for the testing centers include

  • Eagan
  • Brooklyn Park
  • Bloomington
  • St. Paul
  • Hermantown
  • Rochester
  • Fago
  • Sioux Falls

Pearson Vue will be first working on the backlog of tests, and they conduct tests for multiple clients, not just the Minnesota Department of Commerce. This may make it difficult to get a test spot in May and June.

Finally, commerce wanted to remind you that if a person takes their test and gets their license in May or June they will need to renew their license again on June 30, 2021. IF they take the test and get licensed in July etc…they do not need to renew until June 30, 2022.
