Let’s Get Organized

Its time to start spring cleaning! To help with decluttering, organizing, and shredding things, SPAAR is once again putting on the annual Shred-it event. This year, it will take place on May 10 from 11 am to 2 pm at SPAAR’s Roselawn office. Here are a few things you can expect to see.

First off, the local organization Bridging, who supplies quality furniture and household goods to those coming out of homelessness or poverty, will be at the event accepting donations. To see a full list of items they accept, visit https://www.bridging.org/give-stuff/.

Tracey Neary, the owner of Two Dames and Friends, will in attendance with resources and knowledge on decluttering, organizing, staging, and interior design. Tracey and her team strives to help clients get prepared to move or improve in an ethical and professional manner. Visit their www.twodamesandfriends.com to learn more about the work they do.

Finally, SPAAR’s Community Engagement Committee will be collecting clothing for donations to Joseph’s Coats. There are many in the St. Paul area who are in need, and Joseph’s Coats seeks to meet that need by provide goods and services to people of all ages, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

To make the day even better, SPAAR will be providing free lunch to our members though the Tot Boss food truck! This local favorite has all kinds of tater tot combinations. Check out their menu: http://www.totboss.com/Menu.html
