Advocacy Report – July 12

July 2020

As our communities stabilize from the unparalleled past couple of months, our attention turns to the future. Mainly, the 2020 Primary and General Elections. The SPAAR Advocacy Team has been working to increase awareness of issues within our communities, inform of election procedures, and expand membership involvement. As we grow closer to the fall, those efforts will continue and progress.

In early July, SPAAR sent out a voter registration Call to Action to unregistered REALTOR® members, with another reminder going out to all members in September. In the coming months, SPAAR will continue efforts to Get Out the Vote (GOTV) in the hopes of increasing voter turnout in the Primary Election, on August 11, and the General Election, on November 3.
