REALTORS® to Host Housing Economist and Tax Reform Expert on November 29, 2017
SPAAR’s Government Affairs Committee is excited to welcome Elliot Eisenberg, PhD, to Minnesota on November 29, 2017 for a discussion about ongoing tax reform efforts in Congress. Dr. Eisenberg will address the potential impacts tax reform will have on the housing market, on home values, and on homeownership rates in Minnesota and nationally.
Elliot Eisenberg is a nationally acclaimed economist specializing in providing clarity to complex issues through education, humor, and fun. Currently the President and Chief Economist for GraphsandLaughs, LLC, Dr. Eisenberg previously served as a senior economist for the National Association of Home Builders. As a leading national expert in housing economics, Elliot Eisenberg will help REALTORS® better understand the implications of tax reform on their businesses, clients, and communities.
With tax reform legislation released in both the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate, it is essential for REALTORS® to understand the significant changes being proposed. As REALTORS® continue to work with Congress to ensure tax reform doesn’t raise taxes on middle-class homeowners and eliminate tax incentives for homeownership, Dr. Eisenberg’s insights will equip REALTORS® to make a difference.
